The story of "Small Town Murders" takes place in a nice and quiet town called Thornton Grove. The people of this town are very friendly and lead a laid back life. Mystery writer Nora Mistry rents a room at Mrs. Musgrove's place in the hope of getting some peace and quiet time to focus on writing her new novel. But, right after her arrival the first murder victim was discovered next door. Deputy Shanahan recognizes Nora and allows her to aid him in solving the case. As time goes on, the murders increase. Deputy Shanahan and Nora investigate and talk with the townspeople to solve these mysterious murders.
