You play Story of Alcana level by level. At each level you will be tasked to remove given number of crystals. When you play along this game, you will also restore the magical forest, upgrade your fairytale creatures (The characters you choose as your avatars) and also you will get know about the exiting story-line of Alcana.

To play match 3 games, match three or more crystals looking similar in color by swapping them. When you match more than three crystals, you can create special boosters. These boosters will remove more than three crystal in one go.

You can unlock a number characters along the game to use as your avatar. A time keeper, a young dragon and a snow yeti are example for such characters. Each of these characters, will come attached to a certain color crystal. When you are playing match 3 games, every time to remove the crystals attached to your avatar, it will load it's "Ability". When the "Ability" is fully filled, tap on it to activate it. This will remove certain items from your puzzle board and help you win the level.

The game control in Story of Alcana is very easy. Swap 2 crystals to make a match. Tap on the "Ability" button to activate it. swap or double tap to activate boosters.
