Township is a farming and city-building game developed by Playrix. The game was released for iOS in 2012 and Android in 2013.

In the game you are tasked with growing a small town into a buzzing metropolis. You do this by working the land. You harvest crops, feed your animals and sell products to people in town or the bank. With the money you earn you buy more resources and buildings to grow your town.

While the concept of the game is straightforward each process takes time. Some processes take 30 minutes whereas bigger processes could take hours. At first you make swift progress but things will slow down considerably later on. The only way to speed this up is by spending real money in the game. However for players with time or patience there is no need to spend money to enjoy the game. You just need to wait a bit longer.

Playing Township with friends is also possible and it makes life a bit easier as you can work together and share things like supplies.

Township is a visually pleasing simulation game that will keep you busy for hours.
