Animal Jam is an educational action game. It is developed by WildWorks. The game was published for iOS devices in August 2015 and for Android devices in December 2015.

In Animal Jam you play as an animal. You live in a fictional virtual world called Jamaa. While exploring this new world you can play mini games too. Through these game you will learn various facts about the animal kingdom.

You begin the game by choosing your animal avatar. There is a monkey, rabbit, wolf, koala and tiger. Then you choose a random name for your avatar. You do this by spinning the name board. Then you customize your animal. You can choose your body color, body parts' shapes and their colors and also the color of the fur and patterns on the fur.

Once you have completed your avatar, you can explore the area and hunt for treasures like gems, check out your den and decorate it or play mini games. Some of the mini games that you can play are, pest control, painting, fast foodies, touch pool, puppy's tale and block break. Games like pest control are like battle games. You have to strategically place your defense animals to attack.

You will receive coins and gems when you play games and open treasure chests. Use the coins to buy costumes for your avatar and to buy items to decorate your den. You will also need coins to play some of the mini games.

The controls in this game are very easy. Tap to select and drag to move things.

You can download and play Animal Jam for free. Upgrades can be bought via the in-game store.
